Ginetta Junior Winter Series Welcome Newcomer Brewer

October 20, 2026

MK Racing will be competing in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series powered by Sunoco Race Fuels at Snetterton this weekend with newly-crowned BRSCC Fiesta Junior rookie champion Barnaby Brewer.

The Lincolnshire-based team, who secured their first overall Ginetta Junior podium finish in the 2025 Winter Series, head into this year’s edition full of confidence. A positive 2026 campaign saw them lead the way in the Freshman class, with champion Bailey Doughty and Ethan Brass sharing 17 victories.

They ended the season on a high with their best performance of the campaign in the Brands Hatch finale, with Doughty qualifying on the second row of the grid for the first two races and running as high as second place on the final lap of the last race.

MK Racing are targeting more front-running performances this weekend with Brewer. While the 15-year-old will be making his Ginetta debut, he has a season of car-racing experience under his belt having taken one overall win and one further podium on his way to the BRSCC Fiesta Junior rookie title.

Thomas Montague, Ginetta Junior Team Manager: “We’re really pleased to welcome Barnaby to the team for the Ginetta Junior Winter Series. It’s a great opportunity for us to continue building on the progress we’ve made as a team.

“Following a strong showing at Brands Hatch, including a top-three qualifying position, we’re excited about what we can achieve. Our ambition is to build on that performance, consistently challenge towards the front of the grid and continue developing as a team. We’re determined to make the most of the Winter Series and are looking forward to getting started at Snetterton.”

The Ginetta Junior Winter Series powered by Sunoco Race Fuels takes place at Snetterton in Norfolk over the weekend of 24/25 October. The event will comprise of a qualifying session and two races each day, with updates available throughout at @ginetta_motorsport on Instagram.
